So my progress does'nt stay in our co-op??
So me and my friends just started playing co-op, and so we all have been joining the same friends game. He wasnt on today so i played on my own and i spawned at my base, in a diffent solar system, a base i made before i started playing co-op.

So to progress in the same solar system i must be in my friends server, or is it possible to make a base in the new co-op solar system weve been in to keep progression in the solar system and to spawn there.
Thanks for any help

Your stuff is still in your save, it's just at the other location. In order to travel between them, you'll need a base at both locations and preferably also a teleporter. In the meantime, you should be able to teleport to the other system via the local space station, assuming you visited the station in the other system while you were there.

you joined his world, the work(save) is there.
if you make a world and he joins it, he starts fresh on your world(save).

You COULD have him copy his save and zip it to you.... but any work on your machine would stay on your machine, and vice versa... If he did something there and you did something on yours, and sent the zip to him, his stuff would be deleted....

Basic Rule of Co-Op, the person who plays the most and covers most player's play hours should be the host.
UNLESS you have a third account and machine to host, take one slot of the four, and leave it open.... but that has it's own perils.

Your save in the progress stays with you... The position may change but that's all... I've been playing with a friend and have not had any problems. We can both play the save we have and make progress that stays... Don't have to be both in same game....
