Advanced Ion Battery

Didn't want to ask, but I'm at a point where i want to begin rapid mining, yet no blueprint/ formula for the Advanced Ion battery.

Is it quest related, or will it randomly drop? How did YOU get it?

Manufacturing Facilities, complete the alarm shutdown and you get recipes, repeat until you find it.

Assaulting a manufacturing place. I use it to quick recharge my hazard protection, but it requires refining cobalt into ionized cobalt.

Crap on a stick with rotten maggots! I was hoping to avoid attacking one. So i guess i better do the weapons specialists quest.

If you are starting a new save, the scientist also gives it to you as one of the quest rewards.

....kzzkt... Oh really? I'll explore both options. I've done a lot of scientists quest but have been,avoiding the vyken weapon missions.

Just attack the locked door from your ship. Then fly around the buildings till the sentinel timer stops and you will be safe to land.

New game, and not a continuation of pre-next play.

If you attack the door from far away, the sentinels won't see you. They just look around the door, but you're too far away for them to see you. Then, just run in when you destroy the door. They don't attack you when you're inside.
