The scientist can be found and is clearly marked when you have built the science station. For some reason, instead of the science station being part of the "find the scientist" mission, they made it a separate one, though it's technically a dependency. That's my finding/guess. I went to like 5 different Korvax systems and was just resigned to think it was broken until i went back to my base and built a science station. The scientist icon immediately appeared for me (I believe my base is in a Korvax system). Previously I had tried logging in and out, teleporting between systems, warping to new systems, etc.
There is a second mission.
I just wish all mission markers were always visible.
And my last scientiest was a priest entity
Generally, I find most of the tech guys in the back room on the upgrades side of the station. Start there.
It is kind of confusing since the Overseer and the find a scientist submission both show up as separate missions for the same objective. Always check your log if you are confused by what to do next.
The guy you quote wrote that in sept. 2018
Thanks to this person for the gravedig
Now for the one I quoted and that gravedig that topic, you must select the AWAKENING mission from your mission board (hit P to bring it) to get to the point of having the warp abilities. Stick with that one selected and check often. the game has this annoying habbit of auto-changing missions just to trick you and make you lose your mind.
