When does the tutorial ''end''?
So I just got the jump drive and jumped to the next solar system.. Does that mean that the tutorial has sort of ended?

Also, I noticed that when I was about the jump to the next system, there was this red dotted like that joined between all these systems.. what was that?

Tutorial ends when you have the hyperdrive and antimatter BPs - and shortly after you will be asked if you want to follow the Atlas Path or explore the universe. From that question the tutorial is offically over.
