Joined a Friend and Lost My Base Forever?

So I loaded an old save, made sure to land somewhere to get a new save, making it compatible for online multiplayer play, and then loaded into a friends game.

Guess I should have had them load into mine.... Because now there is absolutely no way for me to get back to where I was, and that's where my base was.

I was expecting the warp terminals on space stations to have my base as a destination, but apparently they don't. Are all my hours of work, loads of resources in the large cargo boxes, and my huge farm gone forever, or is there a way to track down my base location somehow?

are you still playing with your friend? Once you disconnect and restart it "should" put you back in your old system

Your original base planet is probably still there but, even if you get there the entire universe has been "reset"... so your base planet could not relocate your base on its surface anyways...

... but... check the base build mission "tutorial" ... in one of the patch updates, i think you can recover your "old base" on whatever planet you choose.
