Exiting craft, stuck in rock.

Welp. 2 hours of gameplay pretty much gone. I have to either try and die on Normal "not an easy feat" or restart the game. Good freaking ♥♥♥♥ devs. Love it when games auto save you into soft locks. Especially when u cant dig the ground your stuck in, and just respawn in the rock.

Both. My games cucked. Its auto saved directly into the rock, my ship is not even 2 steps away but i cant get back in it.

Have you tried to use the terrain manipulator to free yourself ?

Bombed yourself with grenade, either you able to escape by making a hole or die and go back there to collect your items.

First thing i tried. I have like an army of drones trying to kill me. I can laser them through the rock im trapped in, but they cant hit me ._. And im not at a point where i have bombs. Also im a little concerned that when i do finally die... Its gonna spawn me back in the rock (Havent died yet) Gonna take a while before i can test that theory.

When you die on a planet, you usually respawn in a space station or somewhere close to where you died on the planet.

Nah i literally spawned back in the rock. When u exit your craft it acts as a respawn zone.

From the video it seems you are using the mining laser, the terrain manipulator has no effect on the plants.

Switch with 'G' and try to make a tunnel underground

I did. I cant mine under me. I even made it a point to showcase that in the video. It only lets me mine until i get to close then it prevents me. Either way, 2 deaths later i managed to break the rock by jumping and spamming the laser for a whole 10 mins till it finally broke.

I was stuck in the rock as well and was able to get out by using the boltcaster. It took quite a few rounds but I got free from the rock.
