Supreme Upgrade On Starter Multi-tool...D'oh!

So, I got a module for my multi-tool as a reward. I didn't even look at it and just plopped it onto my multi-tool (still have the starter one), it is a supreme upgrade that makes scanning items worth astronomicaly more than normal. After doing this I realize that it cannot be removed, and I want to get a new multi-tool because my 5 slot starter one sucks. I wish there was a way to remove these things and place them on new tools when purchasing. I don't want to give up this scanning bonus.....what should I do peeps?

just get a new tool, you can buy S-class modules from station vendors for about 440 nanites

Get used to it. You'll be upgrading that tool a lot until you get both max slots and what you want.

You can get those upgrades from space stations! You just need 400 or so nanite clusters or so. Also I would recommend just scanning as much as you can, take the units from that and go find yourself a better multitool ;)

no worry its not that hard to get them i already have 3 of those they arent that rare just check every system you visite you will have new 1 in no time
