Resource Depot Mission

When taking on a mission to destroy a resource depot: If you kill the depot with your ship instead of getting out on foot, it doesn't count as kill credit for the mission and you cannot complete it.

And if you go on foot you will be ambushed by a 5 star supresion sentinel responce even before you reach the site.

There are a few mission bugs like this. At least there's a way to complete depot missions, whereas kill abomination missions are 100% not functional.

1st, you need to be on foot at the depot location until the mission have the counter 0/5
2nd, you CAN destroy depot by you starship but in VERY CLOSE RANGE

I had 0 problem on foot popping the depots. If you jump around and move, you don't take a ton of damage from sentinals. Just pop them all in the circle and hop back in your ship, the 3 I did seemed pretty easy and the ore sells for a ton.

Yep ran into this as well. Never counts and then doesn't show you where the next depot is. 50% of the freighter missions are bugged.

I destroyed the depot before I even had this as a mission....is there a way to complete it or am I boned?

What? This is news to me. I had two abomination missions and both of them completed just fine.

Depots should be randomly generated things.

It marked the one on the planet that I had already destroyed as the quest objective.

You need to hand in 100 gold to complete the mission

I was stuck on the Weapons Specialist mission because I used the ship. Removing the Weapons Terminal and placing it again removed the mission and I was able to restart it. Did it on foot and had no problems completeing the objectives.

I have more than 100 gold and still the quest states, Destroy 3 depots.....
