How do I build a heat capacitor?

So, I aleady finished the Scientist quest line but I can't find the thing in my build menu. Maybe I'm missing something, not sure or I'm unlucky and it's a bug. So where would I find this normally? Thanks!

i got the heater a quest or two AFTER getting the circuitboard. its also on the wiki when if u are trying to pinpoint it

You should have gotten it towards the end of the science terminal dudes quest line, when you get the circuit board.

Do the science quests, there you can learn it all. Like the overseer says.

As I mentioned before I alreasy finished that questiline and I checked the wiki. I actually even have one in my inventory - I just can't find a way to place it!

He said he finished them so its most likely bugged. I think all quests at this point have the potential to be bugged, especially for older saves. I know my overseer and farmer are both bugged and stuck in their quest lines. And I'm missing a couple key blueprints from them.

I can also produce one in my inventory. But still, no clue how to actually use the damn thing!

You don't use it, its a component used to build circuit boards.

They aren't things you place. It is just an item you craft in your inventory to sell or use to craft other things.

You can also sell them by themselves for 240k units, or build the circuit boards to sell for 1,196,250 units.

Oh, got it - I thought, since it's an aggricultural thing it was something you could use to accelerate growing plants or something like that.
