would be nice if you could only look up 1 storage device and rest just worked like a "increase inventory" adding to the first window 5-10-15 tiles etc.
But this is No Mans Fun.....
Also, I like to color code my vaults to find specific objects faster.
Regarding the item transfer... maybe try to have each spot filled with at least one item? I'll need to look into that more, but the system definitely stacks items.
Use save editor and give container 0 48 slots then don’t build the rest anywhere...
Go there, and give them feedback. Trust me they listen. I have logged a bunch of bugs, even stuff I have never seen here and they fixed.
They have been good with their weekly patches.
I think other posts covered the doubling up of non full slots thing. Why on earth the coder doesn't tag items as something that can quickly be searched for in multiple containers, then if doesn't exist create a new one during the transfer, instead?
My only gripe with these really, is pressing X on an empty suit slot brings up two container inventories worth of list. It takes pure logic to maintain the situation under several circumstances. Hardly eligant.
All you have to have is a single base somewhere with all 10 containers.
After that, you can access the contents of the containers via transfer menus (the last tab) when you are at any of your bases, and on the freighter.
All 10 containers are presented as combined inventory.
I have a base somewhere that has just the BC and 10 containers :)

It still comes down to "hm shall I TX to freighter container, or base container, hmmmmmmm".
J
Not really. If you say had #0-4 on freighter and 5-9 on base. It would keep them separate.
Hence my comment about ‘all 10’.
