Can’t Leave Freighter
Purchased the game because I thought most of the game breaking bugs were fixed. Here I am, unable to leave my freighter with any of my ships

Is your ship on the first landingpad near the entrance ?
Hold right mouse and trie leaving freighter again. Sometimes it needs 20-30 tries but normal that works

I’ve got 2 in the front and the rest are scattered through the 9 landing bays

I've had the same problem. Tried multiple solutions people gave me. I just quit playing and check back after each update to see if I can leave yet.

So my girl and I where playing lastnight and this happened to me I got satuck in my landing bay. And she could not enter it was red for here not blue. This was because we where in conflict with other ships. She could see them and my fleet where defending the capital. So what I'm saying is I was stuck even after reloging the game for about 5-10 min until my fleet finished off the 5 ships. Now I never understood the point of this. My capital was under attack and I really had no warning inside the capital, only looking on my girls screen did I see I was being attacked. So maybe I missed the msg idk. But not letting me leave my bay in my FIGHTER!! to Defend my own Capital LOL. MAkes no freaking sense at all in any way. But after about 5-10 min my fleet won the battle and I was free to go lol. Hope they change this.

Only work around I found was to load a manual save from the last planet I was on. Which wasn’t to bad but this kind of problem needs a serious fix. This can be absolutely game breaking for people that had a manual save on there freighter

Player 1, this is old stuff of 2018, game has changed since. Now there are cockpit glitches, not takeoff glitches.

This is still a bug in the latest version (Origins), W + shift + spacebar was the only solution to take off from my freigjhter

I have never experienced this. Only time I ever got stopped from leaving my freighters was when it was under attack. OR the ship was broken.

Build a teleporter onboard the freigther, maybe you can teleport out.

If it works i would advice calling them all to a planet then manual save and then jump in and out of your ship a few times overwriting the autosaves.

And maybe do a hard backup before any of this.

Never heard of this bug, but given its over 2 years old it probably died in the obscurity it was born from.

There was a time long ago where there was a bug with big ships not getting out of freighter and being blocked inside after technically taking-off, but this is long gone, I don't know why this old soup is warmed-up again...
