I only found it by following the directions from a youtube video. I am not sure it would ping if you scan...unless you were already underwater.
Thats that kind of planet you avoid in the beginning. The sun color should not matter I guess? Well you can stick to blue systems and see if it helps.
I found a variety of ships from A to C in yellow sun systems in the past days. Most underwater.
Oh and theres a site with coordinates to all kinds of s class stuff.. including
