Semiconductors

So I’ve been searching for semiconductors..... Is there a better chance that they are sold in certain systems? Like scientific types etc?

First, you can help yourself the most by keeping the following page open in your overlay browser:

Since Semiconductors are a blueprint-crafting item, they're going to be found at random, and your best best is probably wealthy systems. Economy types (scientific, industrial, etc) only determine why type of trade commodoties will appear at trade terminals and NPC vendors. Crafted items aren't trade commodities in the same sense, and thus appear randomly.

I do have the blueprint, I just don’t have a blueprint for thermic condensate. I looked on the wiki, apparently not hard enough. Thanks for the feedback.

Destroy Supply Depo's and you will be swimming in Thermic Condensate and might even pick up Nitrogen Salt too. This is how I make the bulk in my Semicondutor to Supercondutor chain. I eventually got the BP for Thermic while hunting for Stasis Device BP's

Some guild missions will give gas products as a reward.

They are sometimes sold in minor settlements.

Yeah, depots are my main source now. Just not enough for the moment, as I’m looking so get a nice amount.

You can make thermic condensate in the large refiner (100 Sulphurine + 5 Chlorine/10 salt + 20 Carbon). It's actually more efficient that way.

Yep, everything can be made cheaper in the refiner. However I have such a large supply from destroying depo's while looking for BP's that I've not had to go that route yet. Good info though I should have included it.

I have WAYYYY too many of these and most of them came from frigate expeditions.

Seems like the large refiner is the new farm.
You can make crafting components with common materials.
You can make plants for crafting with common materials that can be bought in massive quantities on space stations.

I've got 4 large refiners on my freighter and can build 1000 of any plant faster than I can grow it in hydroponic trays.

Yesterday I crafted 170 mil worth of stuff.

You can make the Thermic Condensate from Nitrogen harvested from a harvester...

Convert it to Supherine... Convert then to Thermic condensate in the large refiner.
Don't need a BP for it just Sulpherine, Carbon and Chloride...

Enriched Carbon can be made from Radon, Carbon and Chloride

Radon can be refined from Sulpherine... So both items Enriched Carbon and Thrmeic Condensate can be made from just using Nitrogen, oxy, carbon and chloride...
