It just seems strange that I would need to run around looking for a blueprint that I was supposed to get naturally through the questline. Should I submit as a bug? I can't be the first person to get to that part of the quest with their inventory full.
HG has already received many reports. I have also reported.
There are two kinds of save. You should check the option.
If you still have manual save before problem occurrence, please start from there.
It is about an hour even if you start over the game from the beginning.
There was a possibility that it was corrected in the experimental branch. You should try visiting the top thread of this discussion.
After spending hours and hours trying everything suggested, looking for minor settlements to purchase the blueprint, rading manufacturing facilities hoping for the blueprint, and checking trade terminals hoping to buy the housing or the antimatter itself, I finally just had a friend join my game. He built me the antimatter housing and an antimatter and put it in my inventory. I still didn't get the bluepring right away, so I didn't think this fixed it. But later in the day after either closing and reopening the game or warping to a new system (not sure which one did the trick), the blueprint suddenly appeared. It might simply just be needing to acquire the antimatter I should have received as the reward, and it is way easier to just have a friend or random player craft it than wander aimlessly looking for it.
Also I do not have friends to help me out. This is just stupid. I should have refunded this game when I had the chance. Not really wanting to spend another 5 plus hours to get back to where I am at and knowing my luck it would all happen again.
reload your save immediately... You'll restart from when you landed at the building.
Make sure you have an empty slot and interact with the terminal again.
That's all you need to do to fix it. If you go off and resave etc... you just make it harder.
Once you warp a couple times and follow the quest you get the BP for Antimatter. From then on you can make it.
The only bug in this sequence is if you have a full inventory when interacting with the terminals.
If that happens use you head and reload the save before leaving the area.
The quest works perfectly as long as you have open inventory. I have done it probably 60 times.
My current play through has about 9 hours and it worked perfectly this time as well.
You can...
Restart and follow the tutorial as you should.
Search randomly for the blueprint.
Use the save editor to get the blueprint.
Your call.
Just a friendly advice, with all the future quests just stick to them until they are finished, or you risk to bug them. Quest lines are very fragile in nms.
Now you either restart, or search around randomly. Or edit your save to fix the problem. Nothing else can be done, and just be careful in the future.
I got a new waypoint after loading my game, so maybe I did not go where I needed to yet.
