Have you tried just reloading the game? Quit to desktop and reload. Sounds very basic but that seems to solve a lot of issues heh.
I've just done the portal quest of the Artemis story line with my girlfriend and when we got teleported back from the atlas my ship design had changed to look exactly like hers.
She has the ugliest noob ship possible with crap stats and so am I now...
My ship still have the same number of slots and the same installed techs but its name is different, its stats are garbage and the class is different.
Its "selling price" have been hugely reduced too !
I'm so pissed right now :(
I feel your pain. My wife and I park in the same driveway. She got a new vehicle and now I'm stuck driving the piece of ♥♥♥♥ she was in before. I figure it must be a bug but every day its the same thing when I head off to work.
LMAO xD
Try to patch your driveway :D
I didn't like the premise of the save editor in the past, but after having stuff like this occur, I'm a huge believer of the save editors ability to right a glitched wrong. If you had the seed number you could edit right back to where it was.
I keep all the seed numbers and glyphs of every ship and MT I collect. That way I can always go back and get it again if I must.
In the beginning it was very difficult to resist using the editor to just give myself anything and everything, but I learned that ruined the game for me. I started a new save and am very cautious of what I use the editor for. Your situation would burn my backside. The editor would be my solution to fixing that disappointment.
