If you notice, the damage or accuracy of most weapons drops off quite a bit with range, unlike the blaze javelin. But sentinel behavior was never kept in balance with those weapons over many years of updates to the game, making other (newer) weapons generally more useful.
True, but the speed and forgiving aiming skills makes up for it.

Boltcaster has very high Damage Per Second and it's also good at high distances.
But with the AoE from the Neutron Canon, I can just shoot the ground at my feet and kill nearby enemies... no need to aim at all XD
It's especially effective against the swarms of horrors... just shoot the ground where they spawn and they die before they crawl out of the ground...
With supercharged upgrades it charges and cools down as fast as I pull the trigger...
I got about 475k nanites myself... I killed a few less horrors than you, but made up the difference with sentinel kills.
Yeah, I also hope the Blaze Javelin gets a buff rather than nerfing other weapons...
