Its just a visual glitch. But its very unlikely to have a station spawn on the exact line the rings inhabit so ive only heard of it once

I found a moon once like that, really strange visual to walk thru on the ground.

I had that once, though happens more frequently in your freighter.

By the thread title though I thought you meant the wrecked space stations, anyone found them yet? I found it the other day, place was dark and the landing pads were red not bright like they usually are, no-one aboard and had those eggs and gunk everywhere. Trade link and teleporter were still there.

I've found maybe 3 of those. Blue star systems I think.

On the star map you'll notice red stars are generally "uncharted" and there is no station. Some blue stars will register with a certain race but you'll come across some abandoned stations like that. These are actually the same as the original space stations in every system at release in 2016, minus the NPCs and added some abandoned building growths.

That said, terminal is still there so you can buy/sell and maybe one of the usual locked rooms but little else.

Slightly off topic but still noteworthy. I dont think every player has encountered them but they nailed the creepy vibe with the look and the lighting. Something to check out at least once.

Some one said elsewhere, that it would be very interesting if this abandoned station could be re-built; hire staff to man the various concessions and get a rake off transactions etc.
