My freighter is lost!

I've logged into my game today and gone to my freighter to get some resources to repair a ship and found my freighter isn't in the system I left it in.

I've never even put any warp fuel into my freighter so it shouldn't of moved from the system I first found it, so....

Is there any way to find your freighter in game or do I need to file this as a bug?

Did you try calling in your freighter like you do you ship?

Press X, summon it

Warp Fuel on the freighter is for when you manually travel to a location while in it.
(There is a console on the bridge for that)

So far, summoning pretty much anything out from nothing doesn't cost a thing. Summoning a different ship is free, calling your freighter is free... I can't think of anything else.

But yeah, if you can't find it, summon it via the quick menu and it will be there in a flash, literally.

You can summon from the ground.

Not purposefully for this no, but I did install a base computer by a mine I just set up so I think it saves on those occasions. If not then it was quite a while since I last saved as I've not been to any new systems for a while just scanning my way around the 15 I've jumped to so no way point savings for the past few days playing.
