Cryo pumps werent nerfed. What was nerfed was the availability of tier 1 mats being sold in station terminals.
Crafting is, to me, endgame income and the easiest way to make money after all the investment in getting blueprints and suplementary farms for crafting tier 5 items.
Then you can stroll to your ship.
Do you think i will get the Cryo-Pump even if i don´t do this mission? How much is a Cryo-Pump worth? Are they easy to make once you have the blueprint?
That walker or one of the dogs actually damaged me when i was INSIDE the building. That´s why i ran out.
What is not being sold at station terminals anymore?
You must work hard for it though, you need to unlock a bunch of recipes, but some days of production sites hunting and you become space Rockefeller.
The reason players do farming are to craft those things, it 's something like endgame Units making thingy.
It's a decent source of income, but it also involves a lot of running around trying to get all the intermediary step blueprints to craft the thing. There are many other decent sources of income, some easier to setup, others just as complicated.
Then you need to set up either the infrastructure to produce the materials yourself, or expand your teleporter network to trade for the materials needed.
So, to be done properly, it requires quite a bit of time invested, while you could be getting units by many other means instead, a little bit at a time.
After having the infrastructure to mass produce the cryo-pumps, or stasis devices, or cryo-chambers, or whatever your end goal is, you'll find out that you run out of things to buy with all those units fairly quickly.
So, it's only worth doing for the sake of doing it, not for the rewards. If you take pleasure in setting up the infrastructure, if the process is fun for you, or a goal that you set for yourself, by all means, go for it. If it's unfun, don't.
Also, when you hit Five 'stars' wanted by sentinels there is no timeout. Save and reload, or hop in your ship and leave the planet then go back down to reset that.
also with a max upgraded scatter blaster (or any other weapon i assume) you can pretend the sentinels arent even there as you destroy a door in a mere 6 shots.
And with 3 S-rank suit shield upgrades you can let the small flying sentinels shoot at you almost indefinitely. It would take at least 5 minutes for 'em to bring it down enough that you'd start thinking about dealing with them. ^^
Also those missions are mostly worth it not for the rewards alone but for increasing your ranking with the mission taskers faction.
You dont need to do the same thing again and again to make money. You will get it eventually.
