Extreme World, Extreme Life
So I just recently plopped down a base computer on a hyperborean planet (extreme cold) after getting an S class cold shield. It's in a blue star system.

Quite frankly, this is far more enjoyable and profitable than living on my initial settlement on a planet with blissful weather.

Anyone else have the same sentiment?

Sometimes.

I actually found a habitable planet without minimal sentinel and weather issues. Very rare. Was after going through a portal as part of one of the main quests.

Idk, I've just been spending my time gathering activated indium and selling it. There is so much rare metal element in crystals and junk that I basically have infinite terrain manipulator.

Also basically infinite carbon, infinite sodium, infinite cobalt. At least, it feels that way in comparison with using my laser for 30 seconds for 60 carbon or 25 cobalt or ferrite.

So many more resources, just hit a dioxite node to replenish my shield now and again.

I stopped giving a damn about a planet's weather after about hour 5 or 6, as once you are established, it is of so little consequence as it might as well be removed from the game. The resources the planet has are far more important, imo.
