Hmm.. I have zero recollection of my ship exploding but it has been about a week since I played. *Ponderous*. Would my exosuit inventory be gone too then? How would I find my grave?
Edit: actually, I don't think my ship has ever been destroyed so I think I would remember it.
It was the same ship I have been flying for the past several days of gameplay, it had not been swapped with another ship.
Fortunately, I had a manual save (from 2 hours previous) where my starship was intact. So, I loaded that and started from there. Better to lose that 2 hours of time than all the value that had previously been in the ship's inventory.
However, in my case, I am sure this is some sort of bug or glitch, and I lost a significant amount of enjoyment. It is not fun to have to re-do all the quests I had completed during that 2 hours of lost time.
