What systems have squid ships?
Title. Also is it easier to camp at space stations for them or trading posts?

some claim wealthy systems have more exotics, but i'm not convinced. that claim doesn't seem to be reflected in what i've seen.

If you really want exotic ship go for it but in general they're not really worth it they only have like 15 slots yeah sure they have good stats but a fully upgraded s class fighter fully Tech out will outperform an exotic ship with inventory slots to spare

I got my squidship in a Vy’Keen system and the planet economy “on brink of destruction” or something alike, Not wealthy or anything at all.

Ship Slots are obsolete when you max out your exosuit with 48+ slots.
Plus every S-Class exotic have a +55 buff everything (Damage/Shield/hyperdrive), so its definately worth it! (

All my 16 slots of my squidship are filled with 3x s-class photon cannon +B-Class photon, 3x s-class shield + shield absorb, 3x S-class + B-Class hyperdrive modules and the three hyperdrives like emeril/cadium etc, conflict scanner and economie scanner.

No need for the ship inventory so...

Just keep upgrading your cargo whenever you visit a spacestation.

I had an Exotic land at my base last night and I'm not based in a wealthy system.

Problem isn't the number of ships visiting.. I have them circling my base all the time.

Problem is will they land at your base. I have 4 landing pads. If my ship is on one the NPC traders won't land. If my ship is not on one NPC's will land... but one 1 at a time using just 1 of the landing pads.... Why won't more land and why won't they land at all if I'm using one of the pads with 3 free?

For each system, all the ships (aside from PC ships) are from a small set of ship designs unique to that system. Also, the same system will have the same set of ships, for different players. This means that if someone finds a squid ship in a system, you can go to that system and find the same squid ship. The exact stats are randomized, however, but once you spot a ship design you like, you can just wait for one with satisfactory stats to appear.

nomanssky.gamepedia.com had listings of ship designs and locations, but that was prior to NEXT; most details of systems were regenerated with the update, including ship designs.

Here's a couple of locations I've seen reported, in Galactic Hub space.
