Can you guys try something curious: When I return to my "Mild Rain" in Multiplayer (Normal), it sometimes (always?) changes labels to "Superheated storm" or some such. Does that happed to you too? Is that a glitch or on purpose? Why do they make it rain when I have visitors
I will have to get back to you with some Scan Beacon Coordinates. I don't have any way to post a screenshot of a Portal Address to my screenshots library since Photo Mode doesn't work inside game menus. This includes the Portal Address reveal image. My addresses are all Windows screenshots for that reason.
I always assumed I could upload a Windows shot to my Steam Library if I wanted to, but apparently you can't. Unless I am missing a trick somewhere?
I assume we don't have access to the Glyphs Characters on this forum right?
Or if someone has a URL to a site where I can input the addresses and send a link from here. Happy to do either.
As I said earlier... I am still baffled by your inability to find a nice planet here. If you are truly in Eissentam and not some other galaxy, you should have no trouble at all finding plenty of Storm Free Lush planets, free of Sentinels and any other BS.
Some Mods will cause the weather conditions to change. If you are running any mods, I would try removing them until you find the culprit. It could possibly be one of your visitor's running a conflicting Mod, and this is why it only happens in MP, and only sometimes.
But it works both ways. A mod conflict can also turn a crappy planet into a perfect planet.
Then after going through that galaxy..... Do any of the others show any sign that a civilization existed?
At this point in time, what you see is what you get. This is the case in all the galaxies in the game, and has no bearing on gaming hours.
Based on some pretty reliable sources of mine, it appears that more elaborate cities and structures are coming to the game in a future update. When and how those will be deployed no one has a clue. But HG did hire a developer who specializes in large PG based cities well over a year ago.
But we have not seen any examples of his work in-game yet. I guess this comes down to one of those video game "Stay Tuned" scenarios. ;o)
Here are the coordinates from my Scan Beacon for one of the Waterworlds I discovered during my previous session.

Let's see if you can get to this one first before I take the time to travel to others to obtain more coordinates.
That's an amazing planet that pushes all of my buttons. I just got out of the Euclid galaxy, and don't want to leave my new one since I have more lush planets here. I LOVE the blue-green planets with water features. My current planet is blue-green, but no water.
Personally, I haven't had issues as much with bad weather as I have had with PERPETUALLY ANGRY ROBOTS or really eye-burning red-colored paradise planets. That may be due to being on survival though.
Here's to hoping that I find a second base location like that planet!

i'll try it this afternoon but first i have to find a portal, no, i build it myself!
"My" planet should have green grass and the tree colors should have an eye friendly mix *g* not to much brown, more green - ya - i know - my demands ;). i guess earth like planets are much harder to find. You can find them but you will have storms or angry sentinels on it.
In my other playthroughs i was on a red grass planet and blue grass planet and now i want my own earth :). I hope i can find a star cluster which provide such planets. I'm ~25 hours in Eissentam so i haven't seen that much yet; 60-70 stars/planet systems, ~50 in my start cluster. -> see picture. http://85.214.41.244/NoMansSky/NMC_EissentamStartCluster.png
If i find my planet you will hear a cry through the whole galaxy ;)
Yes! ´Have experienced this 2 times! but that reverted to normal with a reload of the save file.
Nope, sentinels will destroy any civilisation... You can read this sometimes when you scan sentinels. sentinels do have much tasks, every single second another one, hrhr
the bases were not complete, sadly and in Regatti there was a huge tree in the house :)
´guess i'll show you how i build a base ;p

this star cluster has much more planets with good weathers, lucky goose ;) nice find!
good chance for me to find a planet in this cluster, i'll see.
but the green grass planets are not that calm as i wish *g* some veery aggressive animals.. They attacked me from 20 or more meters away. runned straight at me and biten me. GRAH!! (not on your planets)
Very funny! ;o) I use the EUCLI-EA Mod for a good chunk of all my base interiors and some exterior pieces. So you will need to install that Mod to see what my bases actually look like. Especially the interiors, which are furnished primarily with furniture and objects generated by EUCLI. (Much better stuff than the Vanilla Game offers)
Without Eucli installed in your MOD folder, my bases will be pretty much empty on the inside with a few sticks of vanilla game furniture and objects here and there.
This is what you will see with EUCLI-EA running on your game:

Glad you managed to get to my sector. Yeah... I pretty much stay put in one area and build out from a central point. Quintanna Roo in the Ivlegne XIV system was my first discovery in this sector and is still currently my HQ, although I move around a lot.
Since there are Lush Planets in nearly every system in my sector of Eissentam, I have had no need to move out beyond this area. So, all of my bases are concentrated into roughly a 1500 Ly circle. I keep expanding slowly outward with each subsequent discovery session, where I always end up finding at least one new perfect planet to add to my collection. ;o)
As far as the Tree inside the base... If you are talking about the base I think you are, that tree came out of nowhere AFTER the base was complete.d There was no tree in that spot originally, and despite deleting it a few times, it always comes back, so I just left it alone and treated it as an unusual feature.
If you plan on building any of your own bases in my home sector, I would prefer that you find your own undiscovered system and build there instead of on one of my planets. I don't want any performance problems cropping up due to an oversized base too close to one of my own.
Sounds like that is your plan anyway, so I think we are on the same page.
Thanks... Neighbor! lol! :oD
