Unable to land
I have experienced a glitch where I've been unable to land 3 times now. All the other keys work just not E when trying to land the spaceship.

When they added the "Tag" option for waypoints it made it hard to land sometimes.

Try and make sure the waypoint target isn't in your scope when you try to land.

I was trying to land on a trade platform

Land in a space station (it doesn't require E). Then save & relaunch the game. That fixed it for me.

Yeah I had to restart the game.

It seems to happen intermittently and at different places for different people. Ive had it where I have had to hit the E key multiple times to land, but not at other times. And no its not my keyboard, thats fine.
Ive submitted a bug report.
Just have to wait now.......

They already know about it and even addressed it a little in one of the recent updates. If it's related to the tag function...

I have had the "E" interaction not work on other items and a reload did fix it.

You don't have to restart the game after landing back in the space station. Just get out, back in and go where you want. The bug will be fixed.

happened to me once, couldn't land at base and gave up after 5 minutes. Tried landing on flat grassy area nearby then at trade center. Ctrl+Alt+Del and right-click closed NMS fixed it.
Figured it was one off oddity, and now I hope they fix it.

I just had it earlier - I couldn't land on one of my frigates to repair it - gave up. I'll try again later

I had that happen also, what caused it was having a bounty mission spawn. Once I despatched the him the pad returned to normal and I could land.

A RELOAD will work as well as a full restart for this bug. I run into it too from time to time. I also often notice that even if you have a green landing cone at a Trading Post, or even at your own Base pad, often times the ship refuses to set down. Even if you MASH the button.

Something to do with the game thinking you are flying too fast, or coming in from the wrong direction or something. The game gives no feedback for why it won't land the ship, which makes it an obvious bug.

I reported it a few updates back. I suggest everyone in this thread who is dealing with this does the same. That is how HG prioritizes their bug fix schedule. "Squeaky Wheel "and all that.

had the same issue exiting the exocraft. Just kept hitting E and it eventually let me exit.

I have submitted a bug report. Let's hope it gets fixed soon.
