Which items will be returned for 'free' if you delete them?
Obviously I expect all base-building item ressources for rooms, doors etc. returned to me when deleting them.
To your experience, what happens if you delete things from 'portable technology' and 'permanent technology' ?

My guess here - unless it's a bug which this time I don't believe - is that you DON'T get returned everything. Recently I didnt' have enough ressources to test it out, thus my post here, it would be fine to know.

Thanks for your feedbacks,

When you remove permanent technology, it returns all the items used to creat it, and with portable tech, you just pick that up, it doesnt delet the portable tech.

Thank you both, Moshe, Jack, I appreciate.
For the 'portable' I indeed pick it up each time (beacons, boosters) so that's not a problem.
I was on my freighter in one corridor towards the 'big anteroom' where you build, I have placed a big refiner then instead of leaving it there (which would have been the better choice), I deleted it and I had the impression (don't know for sure) that all 5 microprocessors were missing in my Exosuit or elsewhere.

The exocraft platforms do not give back all the materials. I'll try to remember to test the refiner next time I play.

You only get your materials back while within a base. Otherwise they are lost.

And the upper floor corridors of your freighter don't count as a base area?

You can't build Exocraft pads in the Freighter.

And as far as I know, any built stuff left on a freighter are lost when trading them in for another. There is no 'base' on a freighter... even though I've noticed a Base marker near the double doors last patch, before disappearing when I get close.
(spooky!)

I have just finished testing it.
In all base areas you get back 100% of your ressources if you delete them after building.
The base area includes a certain distance away from your planet base and the upper corridors and large room of your freighter.

This is true for portable, permanent technology and any base-building materials available to you depending if you are on your freighter or on your planet base (what's available is different).
