Stuck finding buried treasure?

I've been lost trying to find "ancient dig sites" for a mision I have as a returning player.. I started anew on Survival since I haven't played in a lot of updates and can't seem to find what these artifacts are, or where they are.

Any suggestions or something I'm missing?

the ancient dig sites are the ruins with keys and treasure chest. if you select the mission as your active mission, it should give you a marker to follow.

No markers or anything. :/ I have 3 keys though, I guess just abandon?

Quite often, the coords given for the dig sites are a ruin or plaque - when interacting with the stoneat those sites, it will give you a choice, and new coords to the site where you have to find the keys and treasure

normally is go to a ruin or temple, interact with a plaque or device, select second option to learn ancient knowledge, it will give a new waypoint. Go to that waypoint, use your scanner to find the treasure, there should have 5 keys buried also, you only need 3 keys to open chest.

just press L3 then hold L2 their everywere bot at a distance apart just find a non toxic world and run till you get all you want

Dumb question is there a way to see my markings/stuff around me while in a ship? I can't find the drop pod I was repairing or my mineral thing I was using :/

make a becon and put one at wrecks and monster zones your allowed 5 on each planet. I carry a save point becon locator and portable procesor just save find which way the drop pod is restart from manual save then go loking for droppod in that direction saves buying drop pod chips and fill all 3 zones on your backpack the 500 items is the best one

each site has 6 keys just hold L3 until you see large chest and blow the soil away
