And you would want to use Notepad++ with plugins and the savetool if you want to go that route. My original save is too big for the (Json) editor, so I had to go that route to delete some ships. If your save is small enough, just use the editor.
But if all you want is to get back to Euclid, then why edit to the last galaxy and then jump? Why not just reset the reality index to zero? Then you will be back in the starting galaxy.
I thought i have to edit to 254 and then jump back to euclid? I used notepad ++ to edit myself to 254 and from my understanding i was still in the current galaxy until i go through the middle and transfer to the new one no?
Also when i edited to 254 it couldn't establish a connection to the servers anymore and i was basically playing offline, is that how it would be from that point on if i did that or did i do something wrong?
Also i just tried this, reset the index to 0 and jumped to a neighboring star, still in the bunldlegar galaxy or however ya spell it, which is unfortunate :-/
And using that it'll still let me be connected to the online servers too right?
And never do this while on your freighter!
Ayyyy i just got it and made it back to euclid finally, thank you SO much my dude, i didn't even know this existed lol.
