R2D2 ship design
I'm currently on my freighter and a badass looking fighter come aboard.
He has this nice looking R2D2 bots on his side, but his stats are not really good (not as good as my current fighter), buuuuuut the R2D2 on his side is sick af.
My questions :
-If this ship design is present in my freighter, that mean it is also present in all outpost and space station of this system ?
-May I come back later trying to get this model with better stats ?

My guess is yes. In that system you'll probably encounter that model of ship with different stats. I've never seen that ship, but usually varaitions of the same model of ship will recur within the same system. You can come back later also. (I've done that to come back and get a ship I like after getting a freighter. Just take notes and remember where).

Edit: when I saw this bot on the side I was like "WTF they did it !!!" haha

IME a system has a set group of ships, so with time you will see them again and again (except exotics). Stats will vary though; I have many times seen identical ships land at the same time but with diff stats. If you wait around you should see it again. And cool ship!

I've heard there might be a little extra hidden "perk" to the R2D2 ship you mention, but never seen one myself.

I've heard the little bot might recharge your suit when you enter or exit the ship, but again, never seen it to test it
