locate save beacon

Hi,

Can anyone please explain to me how i can find my save beacons that are placed on different planets in dfferent star systems?

context: trying to teleport to the star system that has my purple save beacon on one of its planets...

As far as I'm concerned, beacons are only visible when ypu're in the same system. They don't show on the galaxy map, nor in your teleporter options.

If you forgot which system you placed it in, or forgot how to get there, you're screwed.

If you want to place a beacon you can find anywhere, place a base computer instead and claim it. You don't have to actually build a base, but it will show in both your galaxy map and in teleporters. AND you can name it.

the oldfashion way with pen & paper notepbook or the modern way requiring electricity :)

I'd absolutely love a little private user notes section in the discoveries log... it also break immersion when every other player base you run into is named something like 'stinkybutts' or... 'metalfingers/cu/c02' ... such creative interesting names right? Why can't each of these objects have notes that aren't on blast everywhere in the UI and game world that actually serve a monumental purpose such as cataloging the galaxy? Kinda like the whole game is about this right?
