Vulkan on Radeon RX 460. Slower performance, any tips?
So I installed the new beta after upgrading drivers to 19.4.2 I have a pretty old PC that I actually bought new to play NMS on launch.

CPU I-5 3350P
Radeon RX 460
8 Gigs of some kind of RAM
SSD hard drive

From what I can see the performance is worse. Right now I'm only getting about 17FPS within the dock of my capital ship. Really it never performed too well, but I'd say this is more of a step back than forwards for me. I tried messing with HBAO and Turning all settings to low and it didn't make much difference (Trying to run at 1080P). Any ideas?

Edit: Fresh install of NMS after uninstalling previously..

Check the other threads on this. Basically few are able to get the experimental beta to work, and it is simply not ready for prime time.

Okay thanks for the heads-up. A quick check of my Windows task manager shows pretty low CPU usage, but 100% GPU usage.. The RX 460 is pretty low for this game, but I feel like I should be able to squeeze more than ~17 FPS with things on low/medium at 1080P Think I'll just check back once some more updates are done and this Vulkan is out of experimental.
