Invisible Base!
Hi!

I have build a base, high up in the sky. Spent several hours and tens of thousands of minerals. I have saved game and uploaded the base.

When I quit the game and started again on the flowing day, the base was all gone. Interestingly enough, I could still see the base computer icon as well as save beacon icon, but not the actual building.

To make things even weirder, my mate connected to my session today and... he can see and enter the base I built... He can roam and add/delete parts, while I see him walking in the sky. I can fly/fall through where the base is supposed to be and my mate can see everything. I can see his character floating in the air. He even landed his star-ship in there. To me it looks like the ship is parked in the sky.

Has anyone encountered a similar issue ?

I haven't encountered that, but the best guess I would have is it's something to do with uploading it. Perhaps you have some problem reading an uploaded base. That would explain your mate being able to see and interact with it, but your not being able to do so. Does your mate have a base he/she has uploaded that you could try to access? That might help with troubleshooting.

I have several bases and they are fine. I have even deleted one to see if I maybe reached some sort of a limit.

I can also see other people's bases, no issues. It's just my base that I can't see :D

There are some issues with building up high. I have read that some with their BC on the ground can build up to 1200 or so U before it becomes unstable. I myself moved a base computer to over 1000 U and the base wouldn't render at all, just the BC. Moved it below 1000 U and the base renders fine.

How high did you build, and where is the BC (ground or suspended)? Not sure why your friend can see the base but not you.

First BC was on the ground, the two that followed are on the stairs :D

But, what baffles me is why everyone else can see the structures but not myself ! :D
