Freighter decorations disappeared, lost all items onboard.
Last week i logged into my game and went to my freighter, its an S class ive had for months. It was decorated with lots or rooms, all fully decorated, plus storage rooms, crafting area, large ore processor, several farming trays with plants growing. It was hours of work getting it exactly how I wanted it. Then for no reason, everything was wiped out .
I don't know what happened. I have mp on but no one can add or delete base parts. I don't think a player could have done anything to it.
The only thing I can think of was the day before a npc pirate ship hit my freighter while aggroing me. I noticed my freighter door turned from blue to red. I killed the pirate and went on board to sell helox. Everything was still there. I left and went exploring and eventually logged out. Next day everything in freighter was gone.

When did this happen? If it was today, it might be related to the patch that just came out. I'd recommend not changing anything on your freighter for a little while to see if something gets fixed by Hello Games.

Sadly no, this happened last week.

That's strange; your decorations and room constructions are part of a pseudo-base, so nothing should wipe it out like you describe. One thing you could check to see if the information is still there, is to look at the save editor, raw JSON data, PlayerStateData, PersistentPlayerBases, and probably either [1] or [2]. Scroll to the bottom of the right pane and you'll see the name and base type; for your freighter, the name is ":" and the BaseType is "FreighterBase". Once you find the right entry, scroll up to see if you have any entries for edits. Each edit (adding a room, trade terminal, etc) has it's own entry inside { }. I've barely done anything on my freighter and have about 20 entries. The names in the { } are fairly self-explanatory. Look in there and you can see if the information is there and just not showing up, or if the information is completely gone.

Longshot but possible, if the information is gone and you have an older save file, you can overwrite the base edits. Go to the same place in the old save file, copy that info from the right pane, go to the same place in the new save file, overwrite everything, save, and hopefully everything comes back.

I'm honestly just guessing on a lot of this, but maybe it helps!
