What's the trick to install your personal Galactic Trade Terminal?
I made a 2-story high room just for it, as is says in the Wiki (link at bottom).
It says it has to be in a large room, or Cuboid room. But the hologram shows in red.
Should I understand that the room has to be larger than a 2-story high room? That would be kind of ridiculous, just for a terminal?!
Could it be because most of my walls have windows?

They work great in cuboid rooms...if you have provided power to the room. I only use one story except where the storage containers are...need two stories to stack them.

They must be on a wall without windows.

Edit: also check your power consumption. You may need to add power depending on the number of things you have in your base. I think the whole base goes dark if you exceed the power available but I would check it if you can't install it.

Actually, I don't think I can make Cuboid Rooms yet :(
I recently had access to the Anomaly, that's how I got access to this Galactic T.T. blueprint.
Is it among the blueprints available at the Anomaly?

Actually, on my beyond save, I have a lot of under water bases. I mainly use the prefab round rooms and tunnels. I have a trade terminal stuck up on the walls in the prefabs. When I opened the game for the first time in beyond, they were on the floor. Once I powered the bases up, they allowed me to replace them on the walls. The glass underwater windows did not affect their placement at all. I have a next save I am working on right now, and have placed a terminal up on a glass cuboid room wall. I assume it will go similarly when I bring it forward to beyond.

You need the blueprint for a 'Large Room' or any of the other prefabricated rooms. All of which can be purchased on the Anomaly.

Buildings made of wood/concrete/metal do not allow mounting any of the 'terminal' objects but they can be mounted to the walls in your freighter once you get one.

Ok, so I finally got to make a Glass Cuboid room, with a GTT inside.
Now, how on Earth am I to use the GTT?
I don't see any doors :(
Is there supposed to be a Cuboid room with a door already built-in?

No, doors for small rooms are a blueprint you learn (interior door, holo door, and small door IIRC)

Ok, now I've got it!
