Salvaged Scrap planet? $.$

Talk about a gold mine... I dont know how rare this planet is to find but there are literally scraps of savage everywhere worth millions within only a few miles apart of each other... has anyone else encountered this planet?

Not perhaps THAT planet, but yes there are planets with salvage scrap and planets with ancient bones and other things that are worth millions :)

Salvaged scrap and planets with Storm Crystals on them are great. They're a nice way to get tons of money really quickly. Definitely a nice boon to the wallets and any starting traveler.

both at the same time is even more amazing -- gather scrap while waiting for storms

some of these planets are better than others as to value and frequency of the finds. like anything, its random. And like anything, you will get bored of it... just leave yourself a way back to it.

In the last 100 hours of play I have found exactly one planet that had storms AND scrap so it is possible. Like most RNG functions its kind of like rolling 18 or 3 on 3, 6 sided dice.

Bored perhaps but in the mean time this allows me to farm for a nice ship :)

I struck planets with Salvage Containers in each of my first two star systems, very handy once I'd worked out how to handle the corrupted sentinels.

This and ancient bones are a great alternative to base building if you dont like farming. It's also a great activity to do while digging up outdated technology.

I get a kick out of finding the ancient bones- not really interested in credits anymore- it is just fun.

Always hope that if you get the right combination you could get a "complete skeleton"...never happened yet but would be awesome if it did...hint to the Devs.

Yeah, i mean with my current playthrough on PC i skipped base building almost entirely, i just have a 3x3x2 cube room made out of wooden panels where i first logged in, for the NPC's you hire.

I started building an underwater base but havent really touched farming aside from frostwart to build glass from. I get about 30mil per day from frigate missions when i log in so don't need the income from farms.
