How do I hire an overseer?

I build a construction terminal and now have the quest to hire one, but have no clue on what or where to go to get one. Please let me know. Also if I have to leave in ship how do I find my way back to my planet base from space?

If you have the quest active in your log it should point you in the right direction. If you have not already do your warp missions in Awakenings. You will need to warp between systems to find all of your workers.

While in your home system, your base will have a visible marker. When outside your system use the map (M) to locate it. Happy travelling!

once you hire your Gek, use the space station's teleport to return quickly to your base. your employee will await you there, ready for duty :)

and you don't have to build a teleport at your base yet. your base computer acts as a one way travell point to your base from space stations.

With these missions, once you are in the space station it's important to re-activate the mission, it may not be active anymore and therefore not showing the icon for the overseer to hire. You don't need to travel to a specific system if the NPC of the right race (Gek in your case) is present in the space station.
