go back to a specific planet?
so i have to say, the map system in this game is useless. is there a secret way to go back to a previously discovered planet without being able to see it from your ship? I know i found a dead planet in my solar system, but cant for the life of me find out how to select individual planets on the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ map.

You can set a waypoint in your Discoveries tab. But, you're at the mercy of distance. What if you want to revisit said planet when you're close to the center and the planet is 100,000 light years away? Yeah, that's a problem.
Well, the solution to that is to drop a base computer and a teleporter on the planet in question. Then, you can easily teleport to it from your main base or any space station.

If it's on your current system, try to fly at different distances, to make sure is not hidden behind another planet. Otherwise, no there is no way to select it.

Your technology level is such that you can travel hundreds and thousands of light years in very little time. But your computer is so stupid it can't navigate your ship to a planet in your current solar system and land it without human intervention. It's like Bizarro science.

If you put a beacon you can see its icon from anywhere in the system, but you need to earn it in the base quests (soon after you start these).
