Mods for better FPS?

Just wondering if anyone knows of any mods that remove pointless textures within the game I.E grass / rocks that cant be farmed, clouds or atmospheres to clear the game up a little, Ive got a decent laptop which runs most games fine on high graphics, Im currently on Low everything and ive even dropped the res down and im still getting 7-10 fps

Getting to the point where I would rather the game look boring and play well and have awful graphics, Ive had a look at some mods like cloud shadows etc... but they are outdated and dont work properly.

have you tried lowering the resolution at all? the game never really seemed well optimized to me. I still barely push 50-60fps on my $3000 system sometimes

? I have a GTX 1060 i7 I get 150 fps

Have you read his OP? He clearly stated that he did. And if you can barely get 50fps it would seem like your rig is what's not optimized.

Hey, I was having massive fps drops on an 8gb video card and 32gb ram. I decided to take steam offline and play that way. My fps got a major boost and its running more smooth. It worked for me, it may help you. Just a suggestion.

Pouring money doesn't always increase FPS. Why can't people get that simple concept? Build a balanced hardware within your budget. sheesh
