Pop -Up Madness

Tried to play NMS after the recent patch but some relentless "Upgrade" Pop-Up harassed me to the point of me quitting the game.
Why would you have a Pop-Up every 30 seconds without the option to turn it off?
It's game breaking.

Clunky and out-dated game which has now has added "Annoying" to it's arsenal.

Disappointed.

I hate all the pop ups. Just let me play. If I die, I'll resurrect. If I can't figure out how to do something, I'll figure it out. I don't need all these damn constant reminders.

I have the same problem. Game keeps showing me a pop up I have to click to dismiss, telling me what upgrades are.

(I have upgrades installed out the wazoo. I know what upgrades are)

And I also hate pop ups like nothing else.

You know, they removed deleting frigates from your fleet because a couple of people accidentally deleted their frigates.

Here we have a couple of people who are super annoyed at pop ups so maybe they'll remove pop ups. Should I get hopeful?

Well half the community including me still can't log in so i think you are all fine . But yeah pop-ups are hell on internet

I feel exactly the same way.
I loath Pop Ups - And what's more I only need to read it once.
I'm convinced I received about 80 in an hour before I had enough.

Such a shame.

Sorry to hear you are having troubles getting in, that sucks.

I found a workaround for this. Here it is...
The pop-up involving upgrades will keep popping up as long as you have an unused upgrade. Once you either install or destroy it, the pop-up will stop popping up. This workaround has salvaged my sanity!

Are you getting the tech upgrade pop-up, or a different one? If different, maybe following this same logic for that pop-up will help? I hope this helps! If not, be sure to let HG know via the ZenDesk. :-)

after deleting the upgrade in your inventory ... choose a mission...it went away then. Pesky so glad to hear others with the same view.

They just need to get rid of pop ups, period. I mean I'm having this vision where I'm battling pirates and suddenly here's this pop up I have to click to dismiss telling me something I already know.

Pop up is soooooo silly, lazy programming.

It's the pop up for some upgrade you get. Install it and the pop up goes away. Very annoying though.
