Invisible character, aliens, rocks, etc.
Anyone else having this problem? In third person I can see the light from my shoulder scanner but my character is completely invisible. Some terrain features are missing, I seem to be running into invisible objects frequently. I've also noticed alien critters are missing body parts! Ok and just now the game crashed when I tried to enter my spaceship. C'mon Hello Games, get it together!

My avatar is invisible. Only bone structures are visible on animals and there are skinless NPCs in the station. This is both in an old, established game and a newly created one. Also, my first inter-system jump started over 1/2 hour ago and is still running. Logging in takes ten-twenty minutes and my one teleport from the station to my base took almost 20 minutes.

I checked one of my old saves and the avatar was also invisible there.

What's your GPU? Other people with Nvidia GTX 10xx cards (myself included) are having the similar issues...

1070 also having this problem
Having the same issues. I also cant optimize the grafic settings in geforce experience. Very strange, have tried everything from reinstalling several times to switching drivers etc. Guess we gonna have to wait for an update or so.

I'm having the same problem with RTX 2080, so I don't think it's a video card problem.

I dont want to be an ass or sound like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥.

I had a crap ton of problems when BEYOND came up.

But do all the little things you can to fix it. Update drivers, uninstall and delete any remnant of NMS files (backup your save), make a fresh install. Check if the GPU is Vulcan compatible, check Vulcan drivers, etc.
Theres many tweaks a lot of people posted here in the forums.

It worked for me and i have a really old pc, the only good thing in it is my GPU, 1080, but i dont even have an SSD or DDR4. I have an I7 2600 (really old).

Theres also mods on the Nexus Mods website to reduce some graphic aspects of the game to gain FPS, such as DPF, Blurr, etc.

But the game run fine now.

In case anyone missed it, this is an easy fix.

That will not work unless you've also disabled HPET in the bios, some of us don't have this option in our bios. This issue isn't wide spread for other games, the problem was the game, this was a bypass. This issue is no longer present for me after updates.

This issue was related to Phenom II. I don't know anything about the ryzen platform, you're about a decade ahead of the Phenom II. lmao
