Can I own more than one spaceships?

I am doing a mission, it allows me to purchase a new space ship, but it seems i can only own it and replace my current space ship.

So my question is that can I own more than one space ship? if yes, what should i do?

You can own multiple, but first you need a freighter. They are stored aboard it.

I thing even befor you can have more, and switch throu them via the "call Ship" menue ... this was how it was before beyond. Not sure about now.

If still possible, just instead of exchange ship select buy ship. When taken a new abnonned ship.

I just noticed this problem/bug. I found an abandoned Cargo ship. Got in it for the claim. And went out to get in my default ship and it bugged out. Reloaded the autosave, and it went back to normal. Did it again for test, and saved in new ship to test if I could summon old ship (had the launch fuel in it and everything). Could not summon it. Think it's bugged (again, Hello always breaks the finicky crap on the big updates..)

EDIT: You can own 6 starships which go on a freighter.

On another note: the beta update fixes the storage box bugs.

I found a workaround for claiming abandoned ships and losing your previous.

If you move ALL your cargo from your previous ship to the abandoned one so you don't get prompted with the warning about "exchange your cargo or lose it", then it will claim for free and keep your other ship. Just did this on my new save.

The simple answer is NO! I own 3 cars, but can only drive 1 at a time.
