Yeah, I'll wait until they get that working before I even try - NMS really isn't the game for me anyway as I have over 6000 hours in Elite and run a Youtube channel dedicated to it. Just wanted to check it out but not putting up with motion controllers for flight.
I hadn't played Elite in a few days and logged in after a 5 hour NMS session. It oddly felt like Elite was *reality* where NMS was some game (both played in VR). It was so refreshing to fly a spaceship again - vs. play a survival game with some lame arcade flight. Not pooping on NMS, it's not trying to be a flight sim like Elite is - but yeah, imagine if we could fly around in Elite and when you land on a planet it switched into the NMS engine, now THAT would be a game!
Until then... well lets enjoy both ! So every itch can be pleased :-)
Greetz and fly safe !
Did you change your body type?
Many find some of the different Body Models cause visual quirks.
That is why I have stayed with the default body type until I hear different.
Right there with you - I really dislike the cockpits of all the other big ships as they feel so enclosed where the T10 feels so big and open, those Lakon cockpits are just awesome. I also greatly prefer the medium class ships, specifically the Krait Mark II.
I had the same experience with the Vulture - love that huge, open cockpit with it's crazy manuverability. If you haven't yet tried the Guardian fighters you should, in VR their cockpits are amazing. Hopefully you'll stop by my Youtube channel as I make some of the best and most concise tutorials around (if I can kiss my own @ss a bit!) http://www.youtube.com/cmdrexigeous
