Enforcing Sentinel
I started a new game for Beyond and I'm at the stage where I need to build my first base. I've only visited two planets and my current planet has 'enforcing' sentinels'. I haven't come across that term before and I don't know if it is good or bad because sentinels haven't showed up yet (the other planet has frenzied sentinels and I do know what that means).

Should I build here or go looking for somewhere safer?

PS - I apologise for hijacking this 'doom & gloom' forum by posing a game question!

It should not take you long to figure it out. Just get out the ship and say howdy to a sentinel. If the face turns red and he gets aggressive...vamoosh out of there. Put down stakes in a more hospitable place.

Weird, I didn't realise there even were sentinels in the starting solar system. Every planet in my system was completely devoid of sentinels.

I assume "Enforcing Sentinels" means that they'll attack you if your caught destroying too much flora/fauna. Or it could mean that they'll only appear if you do something bad, such as attack a supply depot.

No. As I said this is early in the game BEFORE there are any sentinels.

I think the relevant sentinel value is the one that shows up when you leave your ship, not the one that shows up on the analysis visor.
