Stupid question? Can't open my door
My base has a large circular room with a door to get in and out. When I wire the door to the Biofuel Reactor the door closes and a red light appears on the front and I don't know how to open it. I have to delete the wire to unpower the room in order to get the door to open. Maybe there's some key binding I don't know to open the door? There's no prompt on screen or anything.

Powered doors are bugged. They close and lock when powered on.
I use force field ports instead.

Mine were all open when I first got there. Sounds like you ran out of juice and the doors had closed with you inside. The electrical part is still pretty mysterious to me. That you got locked in surprises me, because I had a similar problem but have a large base with several opening so never occurred to me I could get stuck.

Other than deleting the building...not sure how to get out of there. I teleported into a base that got buried. Finally figured out I could delete a window (wood individual piece) and dig my way out.

Most of my bases came through with no issues (other than missing landing pads)...haven't got to them all yet. Sucks to have to go to the station to check on each one.

Good luck and remember you can always rebuild. I guess this is our Hurricane Beyond.

The perils of playing a game hours after a major content patch. Thanks for the info!

Just in case you didn't know, landing pads were intentionally removed from bases because their size was increased. They should have been refunded and not just gone missing.

Hello, it's not a bug... I was also looking for a solution and I just found: The doors need a power supply "different" from the one that feeds the base and just a button (like the "wall button", I don't know the english name for "Interrupteur mural").

Mate. There's no such thing as a stupid question. Can't help you though.

Or you use a Wall Switch and shoot it with a Scatter Blaster to open and close. Because you're not a big fat failure at No Man's Life for never thinking of doing it this way, and then continuing to do it, long after better options have become available.
