Button layout HTC vive

I cannot for the life of me figure out what buttons to use in this game and its very frustrating ...right at the beginning half my screen is blacked out with help screens but I dont know what is LG button to close to advance the screen . Help is appreciated .

LG should be Left Grip.
You should be able to review/change the VR controls in the controller settings in the SteamVR overlay.

T for trigger LT, RT
