any good cheatengine tables that work with beyond?
Before you flip out over why I'd cheat in the game. I lost my saves from NEXT and just don't feel like regrinding everything I had before and just want to get back to a comparable state as I had in NEXT. The start of the game is just not fun after you've already done it a few times.

and this is why steam implemented game developer bans

id love a cheat for a hyperdrive blueprint, since the game is bugged, I cant get a hd blueprint until I complete the missions, but I can't complete the missions until I get a hd bp....... whaaaaaaaaaaaaat??

did you read the post? I lost my saves. I just want to get back to where I was with my save without spending 100+ hours of not having fun getting there. Farming for S class ships is not fun, bouncing back and forth at stations trying to find the right mods to buy is not fun.

Well, I want to alt-tab without the game pausing and the table I used for that does not work any more, so f this.

it not being fun does not constitute a legitimate reason to cheat.
Unhappy Camper Aug 14, 2019 @ 2:51pm
It is if you're just trying to get back to where you were prior to losing the save. The options are, cheat to get something comparable to what I had or, screw this game I'll just uninstall because 100+ hours of not having fun is not what I play a game for.

Why not?

and it's not like the game has pvp or leaderboards or competition. So it doesn't affect you if someone cheats.

Yes, yes it does. Especially in single-player games. NMS has "multiplayer" just plastered somewhere over it and it even that works only barely.
Eldari Aug 14, 2019 @ 2:58pm
In a single player game you could claim that, but the game has been multiplayer since the NEXT update. There is no reasonable excuse for cheating in a multiplayer game, I honestly hope they game ban you so that you can understand that.

In the first place this bugged trasheap needs "cheating". I had to edit my save to get basic progression quests going three times. Artemis stuff never started, then got stuck, then disappeared. I'd be stuck without basic construction stuff had I not edited the entries to restart those quests whenever they bugged out.

Setting aside the fact that you are being a massive baby about a core feature of the game, the update has been out for less than 12 hours so expecting the people who develop cheat tables to have one out instantly is a little unrealistic don't you think?

It's a single player game with "multiplayer" tacked on, nothing competitive, and as I keep trying to drill through your thick skull, I'm just trying to get back close to a state that I legitimately earned previously but lost, due to building a new computer, forgetting that I had switched off cloud saving in this game shortly after launch because you only got 1 save file and I wanted to start over and you had to disable cloud saving for that, and my old save not backing up properly, I think I didn't get the %appdata/roaming folder just the /local folder when I backed up. Damn. Anyway, I don't want to start over from scratch, because standing around at trading posts for hours waiting for an S class of a model you like, is tedious and not fun, and certainly not something I want to repeat.

The core feature of this game is wiping and starting from scratch every time you want to play and see what's new that's been added rather than repeating the same starter quests and old content you've already done?

Doing whatever is needed to enjoy a game is not cheating.

Not enjoying a game is cheating yourself.
