Wiring? Seriously?
Yeah HG, you looked at everyone's meticulously designed bases, earned in spite of your clunky ass snapping, that only works at 90 degrees, can't be used for easily designing anything other than boxes and you thought...

"These guys are screaming out for a mess of wires everywhere to power their bases that will render them functionally useless if they don't use them."

Yeah, it was so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awesome to comeback on my save, to find out that all my bases were useless, freighter was broken and this whole thing was again just too much hype. I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ want this game to work, i really do, but updates like these are kick in the nuts. Bioreactor runs only teleport for 2:30mins on full charge? Seriously wtf is this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥!

Anyone have a clue how to delete wires after they have been placed? holding ctrl option just adds more wires instead of deleting them

Anyone figure out a better fuel for this thing? I just selected a stack of 637 condensed carbon and it ate all of it for 33mins of power. Needless to say, i instantly shut off my game so it wouldn't consume my carbon and revert back.

Hated wires in Ark and not a fan they added it here. Please give us a way to wireless power our bases!

That new powering and wiring system is stupid and unnecessary. The wiring is clunky as hell (while trying to delete a wire i deleted a building) and the power consumption totally unbalanced: It ate through hundreds of carbon in a few minutes just to power a teleporter and a few other buildngs. I got this game last week and had lots of fun but in this state I wont play it again. I am very disappointed.

Yea, wiring only makes sense IF they reset everything.

Instead, they retroactively screwed over huge creations, forced us to replant things, and even wont let us access our vaults to get resources that would let us build the crap to begin with.

Even when I powered all my vaults, only half of them went powered. The other half still say unpowered, lmao

well.. for my base i dont need much wires, i used solars instead of silly carbon eating black hole, but for some reson even if i have enough power every other vault is not powered...

replace your vaults using the new building snap placement and they should start working again. Forget the biogen and go solar + batteries.

and yes, the wiring everywhere looks just terrible. At least put power ports in the back of some tech (like vaults, teleporters etc) so we can run wires behind stuff instead of having a bunch of wires running like 6 in from the floor in the middle of the room and in front of access points.

Hate the god awful wiring and the fact you need a planet size stash of resources to fuel one biofuel generator for an hour. At the moment I am just trying to supply enough power for my storage containers so I can clear them out. Will leave my base alone until things change, fingers crossed.
