Sitting in VR
Has anyone seen any info on whether or not when you get in your ship, you have to stand the whole time? or can I put a chair near me and when I get in, I can sit down and it's totally normal?

tbh , i think the whole game might be more enjoyable played sitted, especially because of the vehicle parts

I have been watching a PS4 streamer who is playing seated.
You can stand as well.

There is a reset view option in the game, so you should be able to adjust from standing to sitting, etc.

No, you need to stand in the corner and think about what you've done--mining, exploration, etc.

Cool. That's what I was hoping for. Hopefully it's relatively quick access. I have a folding chair I can move out of the way. lol I should probably buy a vive tracker and mark the chair so I don't sit and fall

I was wondering about this as well... I definitely wouldn't be doing long play sessions if I have to stand the whole time. At the same time, standing will feel silly when sitting in a ship or sitting in a rover. Sadly the game is about 50/50 on walking around vs sitting in something. I'll probably start out standing, and figure it out as I go along. I may try to strategically place an easy to find chair behind the standing space and try to switch in real time :)

I totally agree.

I REALLY hope there is a seated option for the whole VR experience.

I'll be sitting the entire time as I'm disabled and even sitting upright is hard now. And yes, if you are mocking people for wanting to sit, you are an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

You should get yourself a stool with a rotating seat. Gives you more freedom to move your arms while seated.

I would be shocked if the VR option doesn't let you sit the entire game.

Just played 2 hours in VR on my PS4 Pro, game can be played sitting all the time or standing all the time or a mix sit while in vehicles stand while exploring on foot, its all a personal preference. On a side note i launched into VR space while sitting and had the soundtrack to Star Wars playing on Spotify. Nothing can prepare you for the sheer joy of experiencing this first hand and i am absolutely loving it.

Its a different thing to make a joke about sitting and standing and another to mock a disability. I am sure the friend did not mean to offend earlier.
