it is selected as my active mission, my base computer simply refuses to progress the story line.
Wait a second, now it wants me to find technology stuff in the ground again. Maybe I just have to re-do that and spend more in the blueprints to get it back on track. I'll try that.

That is why I want that mission flagged for players that have already done it so they don't have to do it every time they do another play through. There are other ways to progress the game without locking the player to a redundant fetch quest.
Its not a bad quest or writing but its not anything I'd care to experience again anytime soon.
I think the quest should be able to detect when someone has already done something, and then skip onto the next section etc. because if you do something before a quest tells you to, you have to do it again and tis slightly annoying!
You also have to built the Terrain Manipulator, I found a Multi Tool that already had one and had to scrap it and build it again in one play through.
