Can't rotate wall....

So I had a wall where I wanted it to begin with...deleted it by mistake and can't put it back where I once had it before in the proper rotation. Had the same issue with the stairs too..... Anyone else had this issue?

Building can be really wonky in this game. Sometimes you'll need to make extra walls where you don't want them just to take that option away from the game until it lets you build where you want; then you can just delete the unwanted walls afterwards. Same thing with plenty of other building parts.

Sometimes moving your avatar to a different position 90 degrees from where you are will solve that problem. You can't attach stairs to a wall. You have to attach them to a floor. If you are wanting them to be an interior stair way you have to put a piece of flooring on the outside of your base, place the stairs, and then delete the flooring.
