I meant to ask about the galaxy name.
To see the galaxy name first make a game save, manual or auto. Warp to a neighbouring system. The Galaxy name will appear for a few seconds in the centre of the screen.
If you don't want to stay in the system you warped to, reload your last save.
Thanks; yeah figured it out a bit ago when I warped. :) I thin I'm in Eis.. something, but will write it down next time. It has a lot of pretty good planets in it compared to the starting galaxy.
When you warp into a system, it will tell you the name of the galaxy, the name of the system, and who discovered it (unless it's undiscovered, in which case that's you)
